Attention. I am momentarily resurrecting this blog to notify you that this blog is dead.
This was a very fun and rewarding project which started almost 10 years ago. However as many people know I am now an apostate, and a proud enemy to the Church. I will keep this site up as a credit to the work I put into it, but I in no way whatsoever endorse its message.
Feel free to enjoy my current work at my new page:

It is always remarkable to witness the activities of the Pontiff especially during Holy Week and the Sacred Triduum.

Sorry blogging has been light. Blogging must come second to living. I’m helping my mother prepare for full communion with the Church this Easter. Pray for her!

Just an interesting observation. It is customary for bishops to wear simple damask mitres while in the presence of the Pope:
In the presence of a monarch, however, no chance. Take that, kaiser! *Update* (Yes, I know it’s Bl. Karl. This doesn’t change the observation just because he is a blessed; So don’t make a big deal out of it all of you who are writing in)

We had to mention them at some point didn’t we? And I am in a good mood, so for your approval,
Papal Tiara
Madness!
And Im obligated to show you this hideous piece which lies in state in the crypt of the National Shrine.
I doubt we’ll ever see one in use again. I’m sorry to say it. If any future popes out there are reading this, don’t be afraid to try one on. It’s your right.

The cries of the people at the funeral of John Paul the Great, “Santo subito!” (make him a saint quickly) are being heard. Today Pope Benedict opened a new door to the canonization causes of John Paul II and Pius XII, declaring them venerable.
